A clear message, delivered to the right people in the right way, has the power to change lives and the world for the better.
As a communication professional I have worked with and for leading international humanitarian aid agencies, NGOs and corporate organizations including UNICEF, UNHCR and GAIN managing communication teams and harnessing the power of clear, strategic communication to achieve major progress on causes that matter.
How? By consistently developing and delivering innovative, smart strategic advocacy and communication campaigns that ensure the right audiences receive the right key messages, at the right time and in the best possible way, so that they are compelled to take action.
For over 15 years, communicating on development and humanitarian causes to drive real change, has been my passion. I have done so in Europe, Africa and Asia.
I currently lead the Communications, Advocacy and Partnerships department for UNICEF in Sri Lanka.
